Funeral Flowers
The Thame Flower Company offers funeral flowers with a light, natural feel made with beautiful garden flowers cut from our flower farm. We also use meadow and hedgerow flowers and foliage foraged from our 200-acre farm and woodland. We like arrangements to be both sumptuous and wild.
For the coffin we offer:
Casket spray - with moss base
The casket spray is the crème de la crème of coffin flowers. From whichever angle this is viewed you will see luscious flowers. The base is either made of moss and twigs or AgraWool. These sit on a wooden plank and are held together by twine. The moss and twig option is totally compostable.

Casket spray - with posies
Beautiful jam jar posies of flowers and trailing foliage are nestled in a wooden container on the coffin. After the service the jam jar posies can be used to decorate the venue where an after ceremony takes place.

Wreath
A luscious wreath with a base of twigs and moss to lie on the coffin.

A large flat backed hand-tie that lies on the coffin.

Meadow boxes for windowsills
Ethereal troughs of delicate flowers to adorn windowsills and play with the light.

Pedestals and urns
These can be used to decorate the church. Please ask for more information if you are interested.
Sustainability statement
The Thame Flower Company grows the flowers it uses on a flower farm just outside Thame in Oxfordshire. We embrace nature and biodiversity and farm as naturally and sustainably as possible. We aim to grow our flowers without using harmful chemicals and pesticides. Occasionally we may need to source flowers elsewhere and when we do, we seek out local flower farmers who share our growing ethos.
The mechanics
The Thame Flower Company offers funeral flowers that are fully compostable and suitable for green burial sites.
The jam jars, wooden troughs and meadow boxes are returned and reused.
